Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Kas Wallet application. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. No custody
Kas Wallet is non-custodial software. We never hold, control, or have access to your funds, your private keys, or your recovery phrase. We cannot move your funds, freeze an address, reverse a transaction, or reset a password on your behalf.
2. You are responsible for your recovery phrase
Your recovery phrase is the only way to restore your wallet. If it is lost, destroyed, or disclosed to someone else, your funds may become permanently inaccessible or be stolen, and no one — including us — can recover them. Store it offline and never share it or enter it into any website.
3. Local execution
All key generation, encryption, and transaction signing happens on your device. The app is an interface to the Kaspa network, a decentralized system that we neither own nor operate. Network availability, confirmation times, and fees are determined by the network, not by us.
4. Third-party services
The app queries a public Kaspa node and a public price API. Those services may change, rate-limit, or become unavailable. Market prices are indicative only and may be delayed or inaccurate.
5. No financial advice
Kas Wallet provides no investment, tax, or legal advice, and makes no representation about the value or future performance of any digital asset. Digital assets are volatile and you may lose value. Transactions on the Kaspa network are irreversible; verify every recipient address before sending.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and to comply with the laws that apply to you, including sanctions, anti-money-laundering, and tax rules. You may not attempt to interfere with the app's security features or use it to facilitate unlawful activity.
7. Eligibility
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use the app, and you may not use it where doing so would be prohibited by law.
8. Warranty disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of funds, loss of data, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including losses caused by a lost recovery phrase, a compromised device, user error, or network conditions.
10. Apple App Store
This is an agreement between you and us, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app and is not responsible for any claim relating to it. Your use is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them.
11. Changes and termination
We may update the app or these terms. Material changes will be published on this page with a new revision date. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it; because it is non-custodial, your funds remain accessible with your recovery phrase.
